One of the biggest tournaments in the world is about ot begin in Chesepeak Virginia. With $50,000 going to the winner and lot's of great prizes below that the best of the best will gather to test their skills and fortune.

It looks like we have more Canadians playing this year than ever! Here is a quick list that I've gathered but I'm sure there is a couple more.

Alex Pagulayan, Brady Gollan, Tyler Edey, Edwin Montal, Erik Hjorleifson, Jason Klatt, John Morra, Mario Morra, Alex Radomski, Mike Fischer, DJ McGinley, David Tommason, Ed Baker, Luc Salvas, and Paul Potier.

We wish you all the best of luck in the tournament!! I know we will have some great finishes based on this group representing us.

Grace Nakamura Represents Canada Once Again on the World Stage

Mississauga Resident, Grace Nakamura-Babcock is honored to represent Canada in competition at the most prestigious Women’s Billiard Event in Asia.

The prestigious 2009 Amway Cup, Women’s 9 Ball Pocket Billiard competition to be held in Taipei, Taiwan from April 28th, to May 4th and long term local Peel Region Resident, Grace Nakamura-Babcock will represent Canada among the best female players in world competition.

U.S. Bar Table Championships

It's a safe bet that a few of our top Western Canadian players would be down at the U.S. Bar Table Championship in Reno, Nevada. Well if you look around the venue down there you would spot Adam Smith, Edwin Montal, Tyler Edey, Stan Tourangeau and Larry Wilson playing the likes of Shane Van Boening and other top American pros.

Derby City Underway

The madness that is the Derby City Classic kicked off on Friday at the Horseshoe Casino Hotel in New Albany Indiana, and the new location for the event has not seemed to affect the turn-out in any way with 398 players competing in the banks division.
