Well a great weekend and opportunity at LeSpot has come and gone. All current members of the Canadian Pool Players Association were invited to play pool for free on Saturday and Sunday.

The Canadian Pool Players Association is putting on a special weekend for it's players! This event will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday August the 2nd and Sunday the 3rd 2008 at Le Spot in Scarborough.

The tournament scheduled for this Wed at 7PM for the higher skilled players will be held at Bobby D’s.

CPA members Entry fee is $15.
Non CPA members entry fee will be $20.

Our local CPA League Manager in my hometown is working to put together a CPA division that allows higher level players to be able to compete together on the same team.

The date for the US Amateur Qualifier has been changed from September 22/23 to September 15th (Saturday). If you are interested in playing in this tournament which will qualify you for the US Amateur Champiohsip in Atlanta plesae call Brian at Maple Leaf Billiards (Tee's and Cue's) in Oshawa who will be hosting the event.

Shooterville is excited to announce a new league opportunity from the Canadian Pool Players Association for higher level players. This format is being offered by Barb Stadelman who is the league operator for the Halton & Hamilton/Wentworth Region.

This weekends US Amateur qualifier was hosted by Tee's and Cues in Oshawa who came to the rescue after the origional host Landmark Billiards, Mississauga closed.
