It's a safe bet that a few of our top Western Canadian players would be down at the U.S. Bar Table Championship in Reno, Nevada. Well if you look around the venue down there you would spot Adam Smith, Edwin Montal, Tyler Edey, Stan Tourangeau and Larry Wilson playing the likes of Shane Van Boening and other top American pros.

The entry fee is $1,000, with $4,000 Added by Fatboy. We will take a MAXIMUM of sixteen players. That would give us a total purse of $20,000 with $10,000 to the Winner, $5,000 for Second and $2,500 for Third-Fourth.

The madness that is the Derby City Classic kicked off on Friday at the Horseshoe Casino Hotel in New Albany Indiana, and the new location for the event has not seemed to affect the turn-out in any way with 398 players competing in the banks division.
