First let us recap what happened in the first two meetings.

Day 1 started with Erik dominating and a late comeback by Johnny to end at 25-21 for Erik.

Day 2 Continued to separate the two young men and Erik built on his lead winning that day 25-16

Day 3 started with the score at 50-37 in favour of Erik.

Shooters Billiards was no different on Day 3 as over 60 spectators and fellow players arrived and started discussing the match. What were they saying? Well the big question was just how good could Johnny play? Johnny would have to beat Erik 38-24 to over take the 13 game cushion Erik had put between them.

Could he do it?

Fresh off his 404 Series win on the weekend Johnny was on his game showing 56 other players what Erik was contending with. Many thought if there was a player out there with the ability to play that strong it was Johnny but a comeback this big seemed impossible.

Erik had Johnny on the ropes as they came out swinging, Johnny trying hard to string racks together and get on a roll. Erik had other ideas and would match him game for game the whole way. Never relinquishing his strong lead Erik would be the first to get to the magic number of 75 and take the first ever Clash for Cash Title and the $1500 prize.

This event was made possible by the generosity of Licos Cues, db Custom Cues, The Canadian 9-Ball Tour and Shooters Billiards. As a sponsor myself I wanted to say thanks to our two great young players for putting on a show and for all they work they put into promoting the event sponsors and putting on a great show.

We look forward to bringing you events like this in the future and possibly streaming the video live from the venue, hope you will join us next time!
