Just a reminder to our readers the next TableSports Canada "Bar Box Challenge" 8 Ball event will be held on July 12 / 08 at Dakota Sports Club (formerly Masse Hall) on Anne St., Barrie. Same format at previous, $40. entrance fee, $1000 added, $ 750 first place. Race to 5 on A side, Race to 3 on B side. ONE day event. Maximum 48 Amateur only Players. Also we have had a tragic loss of one of our local players recently. In his memory, we will be holding the Jimmy Gardiner Memorial pool and dart tournament on July 5 /08 to raise some money for the family to help with the expenses of the funeral. We will be having a pool tournament ,8 ball, using both the bar box and the 9' tables, along side a dart tournament at the same time.

no entrance fees to either, just asking for a cash donation to go to the family. This will be made a fun day event, with a supper time buffet / BBQ at a cost of $10., with the proceeds of the buffet/BBQ going to the family as well.

This could be an opportunity for the bar box players to get in some table time to warm up for the following weeks tournament, and do a little good at the same time. Everyone welcome.
