John White and the staff at Shooters in North York would like to officially announce the following qualifying tournaments for the Canadian Championships to be held at Shooters beginning August 15.

Shooters Billiards in North York is hosting 7 more qualifying tournaments for the Canadian Championship. They will be running different tournaments towards winning an entry into the different national events.

Attention Ontario, there are still a good number of qualifiers coming to a room near you. Here is your chance to make that big entry fee much smaller whether you're looking to play in the Open or the Amateur.

Wednesday night Shooters hosted an amateur mens 9-ball and womens 8-ball qualifier. 15 players came out to compete and of them Naomi Williams won the womens 8-Ball spot and Dean M and Michael M won amateur 9-ball spots.

We will be running the following qualifiers again this Wednesday at Shooters at 8:00.

Amateur Men and Amateur Women 9-Ball - Entry to these qualifiers will be $25 and it will be single knockout.

John White, Erik Hjorleifson, Don Broos came together to run some qualifiers on Wednesday night instead of the regular tournament. About 40 players came out to battle for the spot they were interested in.

Wednesday night Don Broos and myself will be running a qualifier for all you amateurs out there who are looking to get into the Canadian Championship for $25.

Shooters Billiards is hosting qualifiers this weekend for all events in the Canadian Championship, except the Juniors. Players looking to win entries into the 9-Ball or Snooker main event should come to Shooters Saturday at noon.
