Scott passed away on August 14th, 2009, in peace, with family and friends at his bedside.

Bigwigs Billiards has announced today that they will be replacing their Tuesday night league with a weekly 10-Ball tournament. 10-Ball has been taking over 9-ball all over the world and I'm excited to see us embrace the change here.

Brian Bedford is one of the great room owners that has always focused his rooms on leagues and tournament players. Owners like him are rare so when they have events going on I really hope they get some support back from the players.

Tiger Canadian Women's Pool Tour

The Tiger Canadian Women’s Pool Tour held its fourth stop of the tour recently at Shooters Billiards in North York, Ontario, Canada. Owner, John White, once again supported the ladies tour by holding the second WPBA qualifying spot for the Pacific Coast Classic coming up in October.

Session # 2 took place on Saturday July 11th at Dakota on Dunlop in Barrie. There were 18 participants which wasn't bad for an Event in mid July. The key was the calibre of players attending.
